The institute of Policy Studies has been organizing from time to time working groups of independent economists and policy analysts to review the state of the economy in general and in-depth analysis of selected economic problems in particular. Earlier groups have examined the state of employment in Pakistan and the taxation system of Pakistan. In its last meeting the working group addressed itself to the role of the corporate sector focusing attention on all the three major actors: public sector, private sector and the multi- national corporations.
